When should I arrive?

If you’re able to, we’d love for you to arrive on Thursday in order to attend all of the events. We understand not everyone can take extra time off though, so arriving on Friday is totally fine as well.

How can I book my accommodation?

The accommodations tab has a spreadsheet with all of the latest availability. We recommend using whatsapp +52 315 125 5423 to message our Careyes team and let them know either the specific unit you want to book, or what type of place you’re looking for if you’ve been unable to find something. We have also put together an AirBnb link with options at the very bottom of the Accommodations page.

When should I book accommodations?

As soon as possible. Careyes is a special, remote destination, and being that this is a holiday weekend, housing options can fill up or fluctuate in price quickly. We recommend booking well in advance to secure your ideal setup.

Where should I fly into? When should I book flights?

Accepted Answer

We recommend the ZLO airport in Manzanillo. It’s about an 80-90 minute drive from ZLO to Careyes. Puerta Vallarta Airport is also a good option but the drive is about 3.5 hours so we recommend ZLO. We have been advised it’s best to book flights to Careyes 6 months out.

Elevated, elegant, seaside vibes. Long dresses for women. Look fancy but tuxedos and bow ties are not necessary. You can also click any of the attires listed on the itinerary page to see corresponding reference photos.

Is Careyes safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Careyes is known for being a very safe and peaceful destination. It’s a private, gated community with 24/7 security and a close-knit local staff. Most guests walk freely between homes, restaurants, and beaches at all hours. While it’s always smart to use common travel sense, Careyes is considered one of the most secure areas along Mexico’s Pacific coast.

Is there a hospital near by?

Careyes has a small local clinic for basic medical needs, and there are on-call doctors available for minor issues or house visits. For more serious concerns, the nearest full-service hospital and urgent care facilities are located in La Manzanilla and Tecomán, approximately 45–60 minutes away by car. In case of emergency, local staff and security teams are experienced in assisting with transportation and care coordination.
